Our story
It all begins in Florence during a romantic getaway.
We discovered the city's most famous monument, Michelangelo's David. So we decided to bring back with us a little piece of this Florentine art that had enchanted us so much. We found what we were looking for in a small local store: a stunning bronze color reproduction of David.
Back in Paris, we realized that the representation of the male figure in art is little known and not very accessible. It has to be said that the genre is much less valued today than its female counterpart, despite having long enjoyed primacy in academic circles.
Les Apollons was born out of a desire to put the male figure back in the spotlight.

High quality standards
Offering you the best product is our priority. That is why we work with carefully selected European printers renowned for the quality of their products.
Each stage of the manufacturing process is meticulously controlled to limit errors and the dispatch of faulty products. Should this still occur, we will systematically return the product free of charge.
1. Printing
All our art prints are produced with professional, high-definition Epson printers and inks, for a bright rendering faithful to the original work.
The paper we use is matte and thick (189g/m²), providing both a good hold and the possibility of rolling it up for easy transport.
2. Cutting
Once printed, the edges of the poster are carefully trimmed.
3. Packing
The prints are carefully wrapped in tissue paper for maximum protection. They are then slipped into a triangular cardboard packaging designed to withstand the hazards of transport, while enabling the total removal of all plastic components.
An environment-friendly model
1. Print on demand
At Les Apollons, there is no sotck: all your art prints are printed only once the order has been placed. This eliminates unsold stock and avoids the product destruction, a practice unfortunately common in some industries.
This is also why you will rarely find our products on sale. Since there is no stock, there are no product to sell off!
2. No plastic in our packaging (or almost)
All our art prints are shipped in 100% recyclable triangular cartons designed to withstand the hazards of transport. The only exception, which concerns a very small proportion of orders, is framed posters and canvases, which require additional protection with bubble wrap. We are working on it!
3. Production centers located as close as possible to our customers
To limit our carbon footprint, we work with printers located in several European countries, Canada, the United States and Australia, each of these centers supplying a part of the world. As a result, our prints travel fewer miles and reach you faster.
